Terms of Use

1. What this app is

Celpip AI is a practice and preparation tool for candidates preparing to sit the CELPIP test. It simulates the format and the timing of the test and returns an estimated score produced by an artificial-intelligence model, together with feedback on what to work on.

2. Scores are estimates, and nothing here is a promise of a result

Every score, level, band and range this app shows you is an estimate generated by a statistical model. It is not a prediction of the score you will receive on an official test, and it has no standing with any testing organisation, employer, university or immigration authority.

• We publish how the model performed against officially rated sample responses, including where it performs worst, and we show that measurement inside the app. A published accuracy figure is a description of past measurement, not a promise about your result.
• The app never guarantees a score, a band, a level, an outcome, or admission to any programme.
• Decisions with real consequences — when to book your test, whether to book it at all — are yours, and you should not base them on this app alone.

3. Who may use it

You may use the app if you are able to enter into a binding agreement in your country of residence. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian. The app is not directed at children.

4. Free sessions

Each device receives three free scored sessions for the life of that device. No payment method is required for them. They use the same scoring the paid app uses. A session is spent by one AI-scored task or one whole mock test; Reading and Listening are marked against a built-in answer key, do not use the scoring service, and never spend a session.

The free allowance is counted per device, on our server, and is not restored by deleting and reinstalling the app. We may change the size of the free allowance for new installs; a change will not remove sessions you have already been granted and not yet used.

5. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

Paid access is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store or Google Play. Three plans are offered:

• Prices are set and displayed by the store in your country and currency. We do not process, see or store your payment details.
• Renewal. Every plan renews automatically until you cancel it. The store charges your account within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
• Cancelling. Cancel at any time in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings; the app has a button that opens that page directly. Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not shorten the period you have already paid for, and it does not, by itself, produce a refund.
• Refunds are handled by the store under the store's own policy, not by us. We cannot issue, reverse or expedite a store charge.
• Restoring. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device on the same store account, use “Restore purchases” in the app.

6. Fair-use limits on paid practice

Paid practice is counted on two separate measures, because a single task takes a few minutes and a full mock takes a sitting:

• Single tasks — one Speaking or Writing task, scored on its own: 20 per day on every plan, and per billing period 60 on the weekly plan, 250 on the monthly plan and 750 on the quarterly plan.
• Full mocks — a whole multi-part run scored as one, including the full mock and the LS mock: 2 per day on every plan, and per billing period 6 on the weekly plan, 20 on the monthly plan and 60 on the quarterly plan.

The two counts are independent: running full mocks does not use up your single tasks, and a day of single tasks does not take a full mock away. Both are counted per device. The period figures are counted across your own subscription period, not the calendar month, and they start again when the period does. These figures are stated in the app before you subscribe and exist because each scored response costs us a real amount of computing time. Reading and Listening section practice does not count against either.

We do not describe the service as unlimited, and we ask you not to read it that way.

7. Your content

When you record a spoken answer or write a written answer, that content is sent to our scoring service to be scored, and then it is deleted — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what happens and for how long. You keep every right you have in what you say and write. We do not use your answers to train models, we do not publish them, and we do not sell them.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that contains other people's personal information.

8. Our content

The practice questions, prompts, images, audio, reports, wording and design in the app are ours or are licensed to us. You may use them for your own exam preparation. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or use them to build or train a competing product or model.

You also agree not to attempt to bypass the session limits or the entitlement checks, or to access the scoring service other than through the app.

9. Availability

The app depends on a scoring service and on third-party infrastructure, and it can be unavailable, slow, or temporarily disabled for maintenance or cost control. We aim to keep it running and we do not promise that it always will be. If scoring is unavailable, the app tells you so rather than showing you an invented score.

10. Changes to the app and to these terms

We may change the app, its features and these terms. If a change is material, we will note it here with a new “last updated” date and, where the change affects an active subscription, through the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the app and cancel any subscription in your store account.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us, through the stores, in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including any loss arising from a difference between an estimate this app produced and an official test result.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country, or any right you have against the App Store or Google Play under their own terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the courts of Istanbul (Çağlayan). This clause does not remove any mandatory consumer right you hold under the law of the country where you live, or any right you have against the App Store or Google Play under their own terms.
