Form A, sat in this browser. Four parts, 38 questions, a clock on each part and no way back once a part is closed — the exam’s rules, kept. Your score and the full answer key come up the moment you finish.
Before you start
Four parts, 38 questions, 43 minutes. The clock is per
part: 11, 9, 10 and 13 minutes. It starts when the part opens.
Inside a part, change anything. Between parts, nothing.
Once you move on the part is closed, which is the official rule.
When a part’s time runs out it closes and your
answers are kept.
Nothing is sent anywhere. The form, the key and the
marking all run in this browser. Your progress is remembered on this
device only, at the start of each part, and clearing your browser data
clears it.
Free, and nothing is asked of you: no card, no
account, no email address, and no session counter. Sitting this form does not
spend any of the app’s free scored sessions.
The other half of the exam
Reading and Listening can be marked against a key. Speaking and Writing
cannot — somebody has to read what you produced. For those, the app scores
your own answer and returns a report with a level band, four dimensions and your
own sentences marked where they go wrong.
