What this is
Is this the official CELPIP test?
No. This is an independent practice tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Paragon Testing Enterprises, Prometric, IRCC or the Government of Canada, and it issues no official scores. Only Paragon can tell you your CELPIP level.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no password and no profile, on the site or in the app. Your practice history lives on your own device, which is also why we cannot look anyone up from an e-mail address.
What is free, exactly?
In the browser: three full Reading forms and three full Listening forms, 38 questions each, marked instantly against an answer key. They are not metered. In the app: 3 scored sessions for the lifetime of the device, no card. Reading and Listening section practice never spends one of those three.
The score
How accurate is the AI score?
Measured in August 2026 against officially rated samples: Speaking landed within one band of the official level 87% of the time in the core band (official CLB 3 to 8, 70 calls) and 43% of the time at official CLB 9 and above, 17 of 40 calls. Across all levels it was 71% of 110 calls, and Writing was 95% in the core band. Dependable for most candidates, weak at the top.

Why does the report show a range instead of one CLB number?
Because at CLB 9 and above the measured accuracy is 43%, and a single number there would claim a precision we have measured ourselves not to have. Below that line the range is still shown next to the estimate, so you can see how wide the tool thinks the answer is.
How long does a score take?
About five seconds for a Speaking or Writing report. An official CELPIP result takes 2 to 4 business days and comes from the test provider, not from us.
Is a CELPIP level the same as a CLB level?
From CELPIP 3 to CELPIP 12 they are the same number, one to one. CELPIP 2 falls inside the CLB 1 to 2 band, and below that no level is reported.
Free, paid and purchases
How much practice does a paid plan include?
Two separate counts: 20 single practice tasks a day and 2 full mocks a day, on every plan. Each plan also carries its own period figures — 60 tasks and 6 mocks on the weekly, 250 and 20 on the monthly, 750 and 60 on the quarterly. Running a full mock does not use up your single tasks. Every plan is written out on pricing.
I paid, but the app is still locked.
If you bought inside the app, open Settings and tap Restore purchases, which is the fix in most cases. If you bought on this website, the receipt e-mail carries a licence key: open Settings, then Redeem a purchase, and paste it there.
How do I cancel?
A subscription bought in the app is cancelled in your Apple ID or Google Play settings, and the app has a Manage subscription button that opens exactly that screen. A subscription bought on this website is cancelled in the Polar customer portal. Cancelling stops the next charge and does not shorten the period you have already paid for. Refunds and the rest are on support.
The exam itself
How long is the exam and how is it split up?
CELPIP-General is four sections in one sitting, about three hours: Listening 6 parts and 38 questions, Reading 4 parts and 38 questions in 43 minutes of scored content, Writing 2 tasks in 53 minutes, Speaking 8 tasks in about 15 minutes. CELPIP-General LS is Listening and Speaking only, about an hour. Part by part on the CELPIP test format, and the difference between the two versions on General vs General LS.
Can I go back and change an answer?
Inside a part, yes, for as long as the clock is running. Once you leave a page the exam does not let you return to it, and our practice forms keep that rule.
Why can I not replay a Listening clip?
Because the exam plays every clip once and shows no playbar. Rewinding in practice would teach a habit the real test takes away, so the practice forms do not offer it either.
Recordings and privacy
Why does Speaking ask for the microphone?
A Speaking answer is a recording, so there is no way to score one without it. It is sent over HTTPS, marked, and deleted from the server as soon as scoring finishes. If you decline the permission, Reading, Listening and Writing still work.
Are there ads or trackers?
No adverts anywhere, and nothing is sold. The site loads one analytics tag, from Google, and only after you press Allow; press No thanks and nothing is fetched and no cookie is written. You can reopen that choice from the footer.
